Car-shaped frame with themed graphics
The RIKO series sets itself apart by the shape of the bed itself: the headboard and side panels form the silhouette of a vehicle, and the bodywork graphic is part of that silhouette rather than a flat panel on a rectangular bed. Each themed SKU has its own artwork — concrete mixer, monster truck, rocket, fire engine or dump truck — applied across the visible body of the bed. The motif is fixed by the variant chosen at checkout.
Two mattress sizes for different ages and rooms
RIKO is offered with a 140×70 cm or 160×80 cm sleeping surface, both matching standard junior bed mattress dimensions. The smaller format suits younger children and tighter rooms, the larger extends the useful life of the bed as the child grows. The mattress size is fixed by the SKU selected at checkout.
Safe construction with raised sides and a low front
The frame is built from laminated furniture board with rounded edges; visible corners are protected with PVC edge banding and a rubber trim to reduce the risk of bumps. The side rails sit raised to help keep an active sleeper on the mattress, while the front of the bed sits low and close to the floor so the child can climb in and out without help.
Sprung birch slat base and removable foam mattress
The sleeping surface rests on flexible birch slats in the FLEX sprung system for cushioned support. A 7 cm foam mattress with a removable, washable cover is included; some SKUs additionally offer a foam-plus-coir mattress upgrade available from the manufacturer's mattress range.
