The Carrello Sirius CRL-8808 is a single car seat that covers a child from roughly 40 cm to 150 cm in height — from a newborn through to about twelve years of age. It begins rearward-facing for the smallest passengers, then turns to face forward as the child grows, covering the infant, toddler and older-child stages in a single seat. The Sirius is certified to the European I-Size R129/03 standard, installs on ISOFIX anchors with a support leg and a Top Tether strap, and adds a door-side impact element and a 360° rotating seat. Rearward-facing for the youngest
For children from 40 to 87 cm in height — up to about 13 kg — the Sirius is fitted facing the rear of the car, the orientation recommended for the youngest age. In this mode the seat reclines between 133° and 141°, holding the child in a near-flat resting angle. The Top Tether strap anchors the top of the seat to the vehicle, limiting forward movement of the shell.
Newborn insert and 360° rotation
The seat comes with an anatomical insert with its own headrest. The triangular cushion is used up to 60 cm in height and the full insert up to 75 cm, then both are removed as the child grows into the seat. The seat also turns through a full 360°, so you can rotate it toward the door to put the child in or take them out, then lock it back into the travel position.
Forward-facing as the child grows
From 75 to 150 cm in height the seat is fitted facing the direction of travel, with three recline positions between 108° and 121°. The headrest adjusts across ten heights so the harness and head support stay aligned with the child year after year. A side-impact protection element fits on the door side of the seat: it reduces the gap between seat and door and absorbs energy in a side collision.
Ventilation, care and belt mode
The shell is ventilated and the textile is removable for cleaning. When the child reaches 100 cm in height the seat is held on the ISOFIX anchors and the child is restrained by the car's own three-point belt rather than the internal harness — the configuration used through the upper part of the range up to 150 cm.
