The Carrello Prima CRL-16504 is a bedside crib for newborns, built around an electronic rocking system with a built-in music module. It is intended for use from birth, typically until the baby starts to push up on hands and knees (around six months). One drop-down side wall converts the crib into a co-sleeper that locks against the parent's bed, and the legs adjust to match the mattress height. Electronic rocking with a motion sensor
The bassinet has a built-in electronic rocking and music module. A motion sensor detects when the baby stirs and restarts the rocking automatically, without the parent reaching over. The unit runs from the supplied mains adapter (input 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz; output 5.5–6 V, 0.8 A).
The crib rolls easily on its four wheels, so it can stay beside the parents during the day and move to the bedside at night. All four wheels have brakes that lock it in place.
Control panel, melodies and Bluetooth
The control panel has a light display and offers five rocking speeds, a timer set to 8, 15 or 30 minutes, and 12 built-in melodies. A Bluetooth connection lets you stream your own tracks from a smartphone through the module.
The settings are arranged on one panel, so a speed, a melody and a timer can be combined for a single sleep session and turned off together when the timer runs out.
The mains adapter is supplied in the box.
It connects to the module at the base of the frame and powers both the rocking motor and the audio.
Six incline positions and breathable fabric
The sleeping surface tilts through six positions, set with buttons on the side of the frame. A slight incline helps the baby breathe more freely during a cold. The bassinet measures 79 × 50 × 32 cm.
The combined fabric allows air to circulate around the bassinet and lets parents see the baby from across the room. The crib cover and the mattress cover are removable and machine-washable at 30 °C.
Co-sleeper mode and adjustable legs
Lower the side wall and the crib becomes a bedside co-sleeper, so the baby sleeps at arm's length without a barrier in between. The supplied straps secure the crib to the adult bed.
Open the side of the frame, fasten the straps and use the crib in co-sleeper mode; close it again to use the crib on its own.
The straps are included in the package.
The legs adjust so the crib lines up with the parent's mattress, and there is a storage basket under the frame for nappies and other essentials.
The unfolded crib measures 92 × 69 × 99 cm and weighs 11 kg.
The basket sits low on the frame, within reach when you are using the crib at the bedside.
