The Carrello Octopus CRL-16002 is a single car seat that covers a child from roughly 40 cm to 150 cm in height — from a newborn through to about twelve years of age. It is fitted facing the rear of the car for the youngest stage, then faces forward as the child grows, covering the infant, toddler and older-child stages in a single seat. Rotate the seat toward the door
The shell turns through a full 360°. Bringing the seat round to face the open car door means you lift the child straight in instead of leaning across the back seat, and the same movement helps you settle them and buckle the harness. Once the child is secured, the seat locks back into its travel position — facing the rear of the car for the youngest passengers, facing forward once the child has grown into that stage.
ISOFIX, support leg and side protection
The ISOFIX connectors and the floor support leg fix the seat firmly to the car and limit how far it can move in a collision. The Side Protection System (SPS) runs along both sides of the shell to absorb energy in a side impact and shield the child's head and torso. In the rear-facing position the seat reclines between 132° and 145°, holding the child at a near-flat resting angle; this mode is used for children from 40 to 105 cm in height.
Memory Foam headrest and newborn insert
A small Memory Foam headrest and an anatomical insert come with the seat; the foam takes the shape of the baby's body and gives the head and back extra support. The insert is used from birth until the child reaches about 75 cm in height, then it is removed as the child grows into the shell. The headrest itself adjusts across 15 positions, so the head support and the harness slots stay aligned with the child year after year.
Harness, buckle and forward-facing mode
Up to 18 kg the child is held by the seat's own 5-point harness through an IMMI120 child buckle with a green indicator; that buckle is rated for more than 50,000 fastening cycles. Above 18 kg the harness is set aside and the car's own seat belt restrains the child. From 76 cm the seat is fitted facing the direction of travel with a recline angle of 108° to 121° and 5 recline positions; from 100 cm it stays on ISOFIX while the regular three-point belt holds the child, up to 150 cm. The shell is ventilated, and the manual stores in a compartment on the back.
