M/Lite is the trimmer member of Carrello's sport-leaning family. The wheels are still rubber and 18/22 cm, the suspension is still soft, the canopy still drops deep — but the frame has been reworked to land at 8.5 kg rather than the 10+ kg of a full-touring chassis. The result is a daily pushchair that handles real pavements and cracked tile joints, while staying easy to lift into a car boot, a tram or up a flight of stairs to a flat. Balanced city sport: grippy enough for tougher surfaces, light enough for the front-door routine.

The seat is intended for children who already sit confidently on their own — from around six months — and accommodates them up to roughly four years thanks to a high canopy and an extending footrest. The backrest reclines into a fully flat surface, so an early nap on a long walk doesn't force a return home. A one-button mechanism on the back of the seat changes both the backrest angle and the footrest in a single motion. The 60 cm bumper-to-seat clearance lets the child sit comfortably even in a winter snowsuit.

The parent handle is telescopic with three working heights — 101, 104 and 107 cm — designed to suit two adults of different stature without an awkward middle ground. Below the seat sits a generous shopping basket with a rigid base and easy access from the side, so a weekly grocery run doesn't reshape itself into a sagging bowl on the way home. Backrest, footrest and handle are all engineered for one-handed adjustment.

A five-point harness keeps the child centered through bumps and turns, the swivel bumper bar opens to one side for entry and exit without unbuckling everyone, and an anti-slip restraint stops a small passenger from sliding forward in a deeper recline. A USB-rechargeable LED light is built into the chassis with three modes — strong, medium and flashing — for early-morning school runs and dusk walks home in winter. Charge from any phone cable; no extra batteries to track.

The canopy drops deep enough to shade the seat from a midday sun, with a climate window combined with a built-in mosquito net for hot afternoons. The seat fabric is water-repellent and rated UV SPF 50, an insulated leg cover takes the edge off cool mornings, and a rain cover is included in the standard set rather than sold separately. All stroller fabrics, including the basket, are removable for washing — a practical detail after a year of biscuits and park dust.

The wheels are full rubber — 18 cm at the front, 22 cm at the rear — with a wear-resistant compound and a grippy tread for confident movement on tile pavements, packed park paths and the mixed surfaces a city walk actually delivers. Soft shock absorbers smooth out kerbs and joints rather than translating them into the seat. Front wheels swivel for narrow turns and lock straight for longer pushes; all wheels can be removed quickly for cleaning, transport or off-season storage.

To fold, press the height-adjustment buttons together with the safety lock, lower the handlebar to its lowest position until it clicks, then push it forward in the direction of travel and lift by the dedicated handle. The seat folds inward, protecting the fabric from car-boot dirt, and the closed package — 53.5×70×36 cm — locks and stands upright on its own.
